Cita previa NIE Valencia: how the booking works
- Open the administration's cita previa portal, reached from sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es (linked below)
- Choose Valencia as the province
- Pick the trámite that matches your request, such as the NIE assignment or the EU registration certificate
- Type your name and passport (or NIE) number letter for letter, as printed
- If a desk and an hour come up, grab them, and save the confirmation as a PDF

When nothing is available
Slots are released in batches and can vanish quickly, so an empty calendar is normal rather than a sign you got something wrong. Trying at different times of day helps, and so does being flexible about the office when your procedure allows it.
Booking the wrong trámite is the costlier mistake: the officer can only process what the appointment was made for, and the search starts again from zero.
How we help
We tell you which procedure fits your case, keep looking for an appointment that works with your diary and prepare the file in parallel, so that when a slot appears you can simply say yes. Nobody can promise a date, and anyone who does is guessing.
Here in Valencia
In Valencia, NIE numbers and EU registration certificates are booked at the desk on Calle de Bailén; a NIE number can also come up at one of the comisarías across the province, such as Mislata or Paterna, and the fingerprints for a TIE point to the cards desk at the Comisaría de Patraix. Picking the trámite that belongs to the right desk is half the work, and it is the part we double-check with you.
Quick questions
Do I pay to book the cita previa?
No, booking through the official portal is free. If you work with us, you pay for the preparation and the search, never for the appointment itself.
Can I change or cancel my appointment?
You can cancel it: the confirmation carries a reference to use on the same portal. Cancel rather than skip it: the slot goes back to someone who needs it.
Do I need to print the confirmation?
Not necessarily: bring it in a form you can show at the door, printed or on your phone. Some offices check it before letting people in.
