Revised in October 2026.
In plain words: the personal details NIE Valencia receives through nie-valencia.com, the reasons we hold them and the choices you keep over them. We follow the EU's GDPR and the Spanish rules on personal data.
The details that reach us
- The fields you fill in: name and email (required), then phone, nationality, chosen procedure and message, only if you add them.
- Technical details sent by your browser when you submit a form, such as your IP address and the time of the request, used to keep the forms secure and to stop abuse.
- A session cookie that protects the forms against forged submissions. We do not use advertising cookies.
Why we need it
We use your details to reply to you, to understand your situation and to help with the procedure you asked about. We rely on two grounds: you asked us to act on your request, and you agreed when you pressed send. That agreement can be withdrawn whenever you like.
Who sees it
Your request is read by us and, when a partner is better placed to handle it, for example for relocation or an online NIE application, it is passed to that partner so they can contact you. We also rely on technical providers, such as hosting and email, who process data only on our instructions. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with the administration unless you ask us to, as part of your own procedure.
How long we hold on to it
Requests stay with us while we are helping you, then only as long as follow-up questions or legal duties make necessary, and are deleted after that.
Your GDPR rights
Ask us at any moment for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or its deletion; you may also limit or oppose its use and take it elsewhere in a portable file. One email to hola@nie-valencia.com is enough, and we answer within the legal deadline. Not satisfied? Spain's data protection authority, the AEPD, accepts complaints.
